No One Ever Said It Would Be Easy

No One Ever Said It Would Be Easy

Australia, for the past years, has been considered a nation of immigrants. With great lifestyle and career advancements available, the country has benefited as much from the number of migrants who have contributed in the economic prosperity.

Truth be told, Australia immigration process will never be as easy as it was five to eight years ago. In fact, the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) has introduced several changes to Australian visas on the first quarter of the year. These changes may impact a wide range of applicants opting for work, partner or even the permanent resident visas. Some major changes announced in March relate to the General Skilled Migration (GSM) programme, where some occupations have been removed from the list. Also, a new list called Regional Occupation List (ROL) has been introduced, which is relevant for the subclass 489 visa applications.

After the major changes with the immigration rules and regulations, migrating to Australia from Singapore or from anywhere else is by no means guaranteed. Australia Migration: When is the Best Time to Apply?

Australia Migration: When Is The Best Time To Apply?

Honestly speaking, and in the basis that NTRUST has been in the industry for 15 years now, the best time to apply for an Australia Permanent Residency (PR) visa was way back years ago, when the regulations and policies are not as tough as they are today.

With the recent immigration updates implemented, once again, many interested migrants have been affected, especially those occupations that were removed from the occupation lists; not to mention that the government has now been considering to cut Australia’s migration intakes.

Strike the Iron While it’s Hot

Migrating to Australia involves many risks. Changes are inevitable, thus, making the Australia immigration regulations very dynamic. Occupations that are on the lists now might not be there for the following weeks or months to come. The fact that Australia has been reforming its migration policy over the years, it is expected that application will be tougher that higher standards will be set to control migrant intakes and to strengthen citizen-labour protection.

Reality is if you want to embark on the immigration application, it is better to embark on it before quotas are again reduced and before your occupation might be removed from the list.

Importance of Immigration Agents’ Expertise

Looking back on the past 15 years, we have successfully assisted thousands of families to obtain their Australian PR against the ever-changing immigration policies and regulations. There has not been a single application to the Australian authorities which doesn’t involve one of our migration agents, which gives our clientele an assurance that applications are handled and represented well. Moreover, our migration agents are monitored and regulated by the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA), making them fully aware of the current immigration rules and regulations.

We have been hearing the same reasons over and over again: a good education for the children and a brighter future for the entire family. The PR visa is valid for five years; you have the possibility to extend it to another five more years after meeting the requirement for the renewal. That’s an instant 10-year viable option for you to obtain the quality life you have been dreaming of for your family. Definitely, the best investment you can ever make.

Migrating to Australia is like investing for yourself, for your family’s future, and of course, your happiness. Don’t wait until your chances get slimmer. There’s certainly no better timing than now to embark on this. Call 6299 0245 to book a professional appointment with us.

Australia Permanent Resident Application – Don’t Get Caught Up

Australia Permanent Resident Application – Don’t Get Caught Up

Indeed, Australia is a popular destination for most people all over the world when it comes to leisure, and even working and immigration purposes.

Each year, thousands of Australian visa are being issued. In fact, the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) allocated 190,000 intakes for the permanent migration programme for the fiscal year 2017-18. Despite the fact that Australia has abolished the temporary 457 visa and has removed 200 professions from the official occupation list, the allocated number of intake remain stable over the years. That number represents a good opportunity for would-be migrants who wish to be Australia Permanent Residents.

With that being said, there can be another side to this story that everyone should be mindful for. Some people who try to apply for Australian visas have found themselves being victims of swindles. Fraudulent companies, unfortunately, target people across the globe to take advantage of their desire to migrate across to Australia and work there. Some illegal companies would even say that certain visas could allow prospects to work there, when in fact they really cannot.

Understanding Visa Types

Some people are eligible to visit Australia on an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA), which can be applied from the DHA website. This ETA provides eligible passport holders a quick and easy way to apply for a tourist visa to Australia. This visa does not allow you to work in Australia. If you want to work and live in Australia permanently, you should undergo skilled migration programme or any appropriate visa type. Subclass 189 and 190 allows you to live, work and stay permanently in Australia. Negligence to understand different visa conditions will surely not protect anyone from being detained and deported by the immigration authorities. Not only that, anyone who go against the immigration rules and regulation might be banned from entering Australia.

Engage Only Legal Services

The Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA) regulates agents in providing advice and assistance when it comes to visa application. You can only trust registered migration agents, as they must be qualified and must demonstrate that they have wide knowledge about the immigration rules and regulations. When engaging services, do yourself a favor; check the registration number of the agent. You have to understand as well that these agents are only there to provide you professional advice and assistance, that they are still not the ones deciding on the outcome of your application.

Here at NTRUST, we value our clients as much as we value our registration with the MARA. We advocate and represent any application in the best possible way we can. When thinking of getting assistance with your migration plans, just give us a call at 6299 0245 to book a professional consultation.
