The quota for the skilled migration program has gone up significantly from last year. Skilled migration has always been the bulk of the migration program, containing Skilled Independent, Regional, State/Territory Nominated, Global Talent, Business Innovation & Investment, etc. The number has increased from 79,600 to 142,400, a whopping 44% increase.

Family visa

Family visa stream includes partner, parent, child, etc. While the visa quota for this particular stream has gone down, there is still a significant amount of quota allocated to them at 52,600.
